At the age of 21 I met Jesus and have been following Him ever since. God has led me to teach Sunday School (children & adults), leading Women's Ministries, planning monthly events, leading home bible studies and spending a year in Guatemala and Belize through YWAM, I have well over forty years of experience in various ministries. God has been faithful to lead, equip and meet my every need.
God led my husband Gary and I (38 years married) to Burlington in 2014. We started attending GT our first Sunday here and fell in love with this church family. What a blessing to watch His plan unfold in our church life! We have 4 adult children with families of their own living throughout Ontario and B.C.
Currently, I am serving on the Altar Prayer Team and the Women's Connect Team. Praying for the children in this church family, our missionary children and sponsored children is something God impressed on my heart soon after coming to GT and continues to do so.
"They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony" (Rev.12:11). I believe we can overcome any challenge in our lives whether personal or in church life and would be honoured to serve on our church board.
