Mens Retreat 2026

Join us May 22-24! The Men’s Retreat is a great time for father/son bonding, relationship building with the men of our church, outdoor fun, and enjoying the natural beauty of Elim Lodge on Pigeon Lake. Along with tons of sports and outdoor activities, this is a great time of fellowship and enjoying great food.

When: May 22-24 2026

Location: Elim Lodge, 696 Elim Lodge Road, Lakehurst, ON (Near Peterborough)

Registration Fee Includes:

  • Accommodations
  • Linens & Towels
  • Meals: Saturday Breakfast through to Sunday Dinner (12 noon)

Program at a Glance:
Friday Evening

  • Check in and Welcome at the Rec Hall (Pick up the coffee for your unit)
  • Late evening barbecue, hotdogs, and snacks
  • Evening Session with Pastor Tim Woodcock (45mins)

Saturday

  • Meal Times: 8:30am Breakfast, 12:30pm Lunch,  5:30pm Dinner
  • Fishing Tournament
  • Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Golfing, Tennis, and Horseshoes
  • If interested in playing golf, local courses available
  • Evening Session with Pastor Tim Woodcock (1hr)
  • Nighttime Bonfire

Sunday

  • Meal Times: 8:30am Breakfast, 12noon Dinner
  • Morning Church Service at 10:00am
  • Afternoon departure

Boat Rental & Docking:
Boat docking is available at Elim lodge at no charge. Boat rentals are available through Blue Pigeon Resort (tel 705-731-0001, http://bluepigeonresort.com/). All renters and make their own reservations. The contact person is Julie and all renters are to mention they are part of the GT/ Elim Church group.

Annual Fishing Tournament:
Trophy for the highest total weight of Pickerel (max 4 fish of legal size. MNR slot size is in effect) caught Saturday between 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. A valid fishing license is required for ages 18 to 65.
