Why Is There A Need For Grief?
We grieve because deep down, we know this is not how things were meant to be.

Psalm 51:16-17
“16 You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one. You do not want a burnt offering.17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God”

Psalm 34:18

“The way travail works is that God lays upon your heart the burden for how He feels about a person or situation. The weight of that burden pressing down on your heart compels you to go to God for relief. You confront the situation first in the spirit, before you have to deal with it in the flesh.”
