I have been attending Glad Tidings since 2013 with my wife Lauren. We have two young children, a 5 year old named Amina and a 3 year old named Gabriel.
During our first few years at Glad Tidings, we attended the Aldershot site and had the privilege of helping out in many different positions. I was part of the weekly set up/tear down crew, volunteered in children’s ministry and media, and participated in community outreach. Pastor Jeremy married us and baptized us, and inspired me with his faith and perseverance. Through prayer and obedience, I now serve on the prayer team, where I’ve learned to appreciate and care for each member of the church. 1 Corinthians 12:26-27 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honoured, all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. ESV
My career in construction for the past 13+ years has given me confidence to overcome many challenges. I currently operate a crane rental company where I perform many different tasks such as sales, quoting, bookkeeping, and operating heavy equipment. In my free time I enjoy playing hockey, rock climbing, biking, hiking, and anything outdoors with my family!
I am honoured to be nominated for the board. Should it be God’s will that I serve in obedience, I will use my experience and skill for His glory.
