Meeting Needs in Our Community
During this time of uncertainty, keeping in mind the requirements of Social Distancing, we want to do what we can to continue to meet the needs of our community.
There are several ways you can participate to share the love of Christ with your neighbours.
If you need assistance, please take a look at the available resources below and/or contact us:

Digital Food Drive
GT wants to help those most vulnerable in our community by holding a “Digital Food Drive”
Many people in our community are facing job loss and economic uncertainty. Donating to our digital food drive allows our team to procure or access and then deliver food and other essential items to those in need.
In this process, we uphold the standards of social distancing and our local health guidelines and government. We are not accepting direct donations of food or items at this time as our facility is closed and we want to avoid cross-contamination as much as possible.
"Love Your Neighbour" Community Groups on Facebook
“Helping your neighbour during the COVID19 crises”
Social distancing doesn’t mean you’re alone! Join a community group in your area where you can offer to GIVE your help, mention your NEED, and PRAY for each other.
This initiative uses Facebook groups (divided by location using postal codes) to connect neighbours. The GT Family and neighbourhoods within our region can come together and help out those in need. Groups will help to connect people who can then respond to each other's needs, shares services, and pray for one another during the COVID-19 crises
We would like to also offer a group for Hamilton. If you are interested in being a moderator for a group in the Hamilton area, please contact Pastor Holly.
Printable Handout for Neighbours
Would you like to connect with your neighbours, but don’t know how when you are social distancing?
Print a “Love Your Neighbour” printable and deliver it to your neighbour's mailbox. Together, let’s share God’s love and care for our neighbours!
This printable provides an opportunity for those who feel comfortable with their neighbours and have some established rapport with your neighbour.
