Why Guatemala?
Hector and Ruth Aragon, one of our Global Partners, have been involved in evangelism and administration for ChildCARE Plus sponsorship program for over 20 years in Guatemala. There are over 500 ChildCARE Plus sponsor children in Guatemala in addition to 17 schools that are linked to a local assembly and provide education up to technical studies. The Aragons have hosted many Short Term Mission Teams over the years, including two from Glad Tidings in 2014 & 2015. Those teams were involved in street ministry, building projects, and medical services. Past trips to Guatemala have been very successful, life changing experiences for many.  We're excited to work with Hector and Ruth again and see what God will do!

Supporting the Team
You can support our Guatemala Team first and foremost by praying for them as they prepare. Here are some prayer points to consider while our team prepares and is on Mission. We are trusting God for amazing things!
Please pray for:
  • Finances/Fundraising
  • Effective planning
  • Health & safety for the team as they travel
  • Our Global Partners Ruth & Hector Aragon in Guatemala
  • Open doors of opportunity to minister in unique and effective ways
  • Receptive hearts to the gospel
  • Team Unity
  • Miracles
  • Divine Appointments (God divinely lining up meetings with people whose hearts are ready to hear)
  • Team Members to have open hearts to listen and respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit
  • Lasting impact in the lives of people in Guatemala and the Team
We would also welcome your financial support. You can give directly towards this trip using the button below. You can also support the team by participating in their Silent Auction fundraiser in Nov/Dec (Details TBA).
