We believe in the vital importance of extending the love of God to our world through both sharing the saving Gospel message of Jesus Christ and being the "hands and feet" of Jesus to those in need.
Short Term Mission Trips
Short Term Mission (STM) trips are vehicles for people who go to witness first hand what God is doing in different cultures/contexts. We have the privilege of coming along side and partnering with God’s purposes, serving as His hands and feet to demonstrate His love to a watching world. Our prayer is that STM Team Members would be used to God to make an impact during the trip, experience personal transformation, and come home inspired and equipped to live out the purposes of God for their lives in their own context.
We also encourage the church to support our teams prayer and financial donations, being effective "senders" for the Team Members who go. In this way, we are all active participants in what God is doing.
Pray. Give. Go.
Is it your turn to go?
If you have questions or would like more information about joining a Short Term Mission Team, we'd love to connect with you and discuss current and future opportunities.
Destination: São Paulo, Brazil
Dates: July 25th - August 5th
Brazil 2019 will provide a unique mission experience as we partner with Emmanuel Church in Peru in their “Pasión Misionera" trip to Brazil. We will have a full week of ministry and outreach in Brazil.
Destination: Guatemala City (and surrounding area)
Dates: February 27th - March 8th, 2020
The team will be engaged in a variety of different ministry projects with our Mission Partners, Hector & Ruth Aragon, including ministering to children with exceptionalities, new mothers, and seniors in hospitals and nursing homes. They will also have the chance to visit some of the many ChildCARE Plus sponsored children in Guatemala, including our own GT sponsored children. Along with these and other ministry opportunities, the team will help with a couple of small building projects.
Family From Iraq
After GT successfully sponsored an 11-member family from Syria in 2016, we were open to additional opportunities to help refugees in need to come to Canada.
In 2017, we were connected with a family escaping war and devastation in Mosul, Iraq.
We are excited to say, they have now arrived!
