En Route Missions @ Glad Tidings Creating meaningful mission opportunities that honour the good intentions and deep desires of the people of Glad Tidings Church to engage with their world in response to the Gospel call of Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit David Adcock

L'Viv Theological Seminary

With the fall of communism in 1991, a great door for the gospel opened up in Ukraine. Hoever, it is estimated that 90% of those who are leading the church today have no theological training. L'viv Theological Seminary is committed to preparing Christian men and women for ministry, equipping them with the tools they need to be leaders in the Ukrainian church of tomorrow. Please pray that LTS would continue to be a catalyst in the development of pastors and leaders in reaching Ukraine.

Location: France, Eurasia Ministry Focus: We believe in Urban Ministry with all our hearts. After over 15 years in Bangkok (22 years in Thailand) we feel that the city is the most strategic place for Gospel ministry. It is from the cities that the gospel best goes out to the towns and countryside. The city is our Jerusalem. Paris is our Jerusalem. On a secular note, "Just 100 cities account for 30% of the world's economy and ALL of its innovation" - Foreign Policy Magazine 2010. That speaks of a great number of people, creative energy, and prodigals are drawn into the city. “Neither revolution nor reformation can ultimately change a society, rather you must tell a new powerful tale, one so persuasive that it sweeps away the old myths and becomes the preferred story… one so inclusive that it gathers all the bits of our past and our present into a coherent whole, one that even shines some light into the future so that we can take the next step… If you want to change a society, then you have to tell an alternative story.” We want to serve the leaders of Paris, connecting with them, learning from them as they build Gospel movements that help their city write a better story. Within six months after arriving in Paris, President Hollande declared a state of emergency. A city on high alert for terror is a very different place from the Paris in the movies. We believe that God is giving us eyes to see through the dark fog of terror and into the clear Light of Gospel Hope. We are partnering with visionary leadership of two young churches in the city, as well as coming alongside a community of Parisian creatives excited about reimagining this Hope, rooted in the way of Jesus. Follow our Facebook page for stories of how God’s love is transforming the people of this great city! Ministry History: We started our missionary life in Quebec, learning French and planting churches. We moved to Thailand in 1991, where we served for 22 years! Then off to Europe after much prayer and a life-threatening circumstance for Peter. We served in Germany for a year caring for missionary kids at an international School called Black Forest Academy. For the last two years we have been in Paris France. Prayer Requests Pray for individual partners and churches, who have God’s heart for Europe and especially France, to invest in Kingdom work here. Pray with us for the people of France, that they would be restored to the loving heart of the Father, moving beyond violent protests and into creative thinkers and changers as they have been often throughout history. Pray for our outreach parties called 'Party with a Purpose.' We do these five times a year with the goal of inviting our non-believing friends or the de-churched. Pray for more global workers here. We could use some gifted children's workers and a French-speaking worship leader!

Established in 1983 as the Emergency Relief and Overseas Development arm of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), ERDO has been reaching out to women, children and men around the world for over 25 years, helping them through crises of war, natural disaster and the hunger and thirst of poverty. "Do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the orphan. Plead for the widow." Isaiah 1:17 ERDO has provided a compassionate response to the needs of hurting people since 1983. We are now involved in over 35 countries worldwide, offering hope through Crisis Response, Food Relief, Community Development projects and ChildCARE Plus sponsorship. ERDO is committed to methods that respect the inherent dignity and worth of every man, woman and child. It is a privilege to come alongside people, to discover their abilities and dreams, and to partner with them to realize hope. It is our goal to see transformation: within the community, within the family, in the individual and also in our own hearts. ERDO supports people through these challenging times. In all we do, we seek to do good, following Christ's compassionate example, helping our neighbour in need. These global emergencies and situations of poverty are heartbreaking. But they are opportunities for us to share God's love by reaching out with compassion and care.

In September 2001, they took their first trip to Guatemala to work on the William Cornelius Vocational Training Centre. Over the years, they led many construction teams to Guatemala. It was on this first trip, that God told Audrey that they would one day do missions on a full-time basis. Many years later, in July 2011, when John & Audrey led a team to El Salvador, God then impressed upon John to do missions full-time. After much prayer and counsel, they were approved as fully appointed Global Workers in November 2012. After a year of preparation and fundraising, they spent 2014 in Costa Rica studying Spanish to prepare them for the work they would do in El Salvador. Prayer Requests: - That their faith in God throughout this journey will remain strong - For continued provisions both spiritually and financially
